Welcome! My name is Joshua Cheng, and I am a professional school counselor. I am a School Counselor at Mater Dei High School. I graduated from Chapman University's Donna Ford Attallah College of Educational Studies with my Master of Arts in Counseling (Emphasis: School Counseling). I also received my PPS Credential in School Counseling.

 

My previous counseling experience includes support at Capistrano Valley High School,  Aliso Niguel High School and Santiago Charter Middle School (OUSD). I am proud of the support I provided to Capistrano Valley High School and the counseling team's  ASCA RAMP application. I have also worked with students after school through Capistrano Unified School District as an Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Counselor. I am honored to be selected for the California Association of School Counselors (CASC) School Counselor Emerging Leaders (SCEL) Program for 2023-2024.
